Update time!

It's Thursday and I'm bored - that is all you need to know.

Anyway, here is a quick update on my quest to hit 90% completion. This time around I've axed all the games that are either unattainable (due to server closures) or that I have the original 1k in and will never go back to for DLC (FIFA 09, PSU and Tomb Raider Legends).

I've managed to knock a good few arcade games from the list and a couple of retail titles too, so there is some prgress being made. Still need about 4k more points though to get where I want to be - so time will tell.

So I have 24,143 in attainable outstanding points (though my profile will obviously show a different figure). From that balance I will need 4306 points to hit 90% on the nose. I'd rather get closer to six thousand really, so I will have a bit of leeway when it comes to adding new games onto my profile.

At least I managed to finish off Bioshock 2 last night, so that is one less thing to worry about - in fact I've been amazingly good with new games this year and have gone through Darksiders, Bayonetta, Dante's Inferno and Bioshock 2 up until now. Review wise only Vancouver and AvP never made it onto my tag, as I just couldn't be othered grinding through the multiplayer for either of them, so they were played on my back up account (on my shiny new Elite). I'd rather not put a game on my card unless I know I'm prepared to go for the full 1k or it's a game that I really want to play.

Now that I've got a few things done my next task is to go back to Batman and also finish off Brothers in Arms. I actually spent about an hour or so on Batman last night and realised that I had totally forgotten how the combat system works so it will take me some time to get back into the groove I think. Next week will be dedicated to geting the online portion of NHL 09 done with though - as I have a week off and two consoles to get that stuff done with. I'd rather do it now before the servers inevitably get shut down by EA at some point. If I get that stuff done fairly quickly then I will go back to Gears and start on Annex mode. Yay!

Fun times indeed, but once I get over 90% I will spend less time worrying about older stuff and just try to clear out some games I have sat around unplayed. The time to trim down my collection is here!
