This is a fairly easy 1000 points as you can set the difficulty to easy for all of the single player achievements, however, considering you have to play 500 matches at a minimum of five minutes a time you are still in for quite a long haul.

Introduction:
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is fairly similar to the original game and a lot of the achievements are the same too. You will be rewarded for winning pretty much all of the leagues and cups as well as specific match tasks like scoring so many goals and keeping so many clean sheets. The online achievements are fairly easy too as long as you can find a boosting buddy and should only take an hour or so to clean up.

NOTE:That the Online FK Achievement has been pretty touchy for some people. I got mine first time but if it does not unlock straight away just keep at it – as it is not permanently broken and will pop eventually. Also, you have to win every league and cup in the game to unlock the last achievement so do not skimp on anything once you have unlocked certain achievements.

Step #1: Penalty shoot-outs and Online
Play ten matches with Penalties on and extra time off and try to draw, then win the resulting shoot out. This is because penalty wins do not count towards team wins so it is best to get these done first. Find a boosting partner to get the online games done. Let one player win 15 (versus a backup account) and then switch, though the first player should use his normal account. You should be able to get everything this way.

Step #2: Cups and Individual achievements
Play through all off the international cups and leagues, set them up with the minimum number of teams possible and keep a record of each team that you beat. Then go to Exhibition mode and beat the rest of the National teams while changing the stadium each time. Also, beat one team from each of the leagues (England, Spain, France, Italy and Holland) but make it the team you are going to USE to win each of those leagues. Keep going until you have played in every stadium. Along the way you should aim to get all of the scoring, clean sheet and fouls achievements (though not the 100 game ones).

Step #3: Leagues and Master League
Now play through each domestic league competition with a team you’ve already beaten. The achievement for defeating all of one countries teams should pop up halfway through each league but you need to win every league and cup so keep going until the season ends, then move on to the next league. Once you’ve beaten every league you can start a Master League season. Pick a good team (Manchester Utd or Chelsea) and win every game, as you need to win every cup as well. After two seasons (assuming you’ve won every game) you’ll be in the Champions League so win that next season. The season after you will be in it again but aim to finish third in your group (see the forums for how to do this) and qualify for the other cup. Win this and you’ve won everything you can. So now grind out the remaining games and goals in any mode.

Conclusion:
This is a very long winded game, primarily because you have to win every league and cup that is on offer in order to unlock Ultimate Player (online achievements do not count towards this though). The five hundred games are not tough to complete as you can set the difficulty to easy and just score once then run down the clock, but it is still an arduous undertaking.
